Shuweihat S2 IWPP
Shuweihat S2 plant is a new Greenfield power generation and water production plant under construction as a new IWPP at Jebel Dhana, near Shuweihat, 250 KM west of the City of Abu Dhabi (adjacent to existing S1 plant). In July 2008, the PWPA was signed between ADWEC and Shuweihat 2 Holding Company Limited. The plant is under the commissioning stage. On Project Completion it is expected to have total Net Power Generation Capacity of 1510MW and Net Water Production Capacity of 100MIGD.
