Shuweihat S3 IWPP
Shuweihat S3 plant is a new Greenfield plant shall be implemented as the first ADWEA IPP for power generation without water production. The plant is located at Jebel Dhana, near Shuweihat, 250 KM west of the City of Abu Dhabi (adjacent to S1 & S2 plants). In February 2011, the PPA was signed between ADWEC and Shuweihat Asia Power Investment BV. The Project is scheduled to complete by January 2014 with total of 1600MW Net Power Generation Capacity.
