The ADWEC Organizational Structure is detailed below. It has been tailored in such a way that the responsibilities of the company can be fulfilled in the most efficient manner. The ADWEC Board Members are: ADWEC is organized into three functional areas: ![]()
1. Advise ADWEA on optimal capacity expansion plan.
2. Collect Statistical Information and publish Statistical Report. 3. Prepare water and electricity demand forecasts for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. 4. Prepare and publish an Annual Statement of Future Capacity Requirements. 5. Provide Statistical Information to ADWEA and external agencies. 6. Examine prospects for Demand Side Management (DSM). 7. Assist the Procurement and Contracts Directorate (PCD) with BST. 8. Verify the plausibility of the monthly IWPP.
1. Manage the IWPP's tendering and procurement process for the new capacity.
2. Prepare and publish the annual BST. 3. Purchase fuel (gas) for the use of licensed Generators. 4. Monitor the performance of the PWPAs, BST Agreements. 5. Assist Finance and Administration Department (FAD) with financial settlement. 6. Manage the Fuel Supply Agreements (FSA) and certify payments. 7. Prepare / negotiate agreements with non-Emirate consumers. 8. Liase with the Regulation and Supervision Bureau (RSB).
1. Ensure Central Settlement System functionality in operation.
2. Settle all payments due to the licensed Producers and fuel suppliers. 3. Invoice the DISCOs on the basis of the BST. 4. Invoice outside Emirate customers for supplying water and electricity. 5. Prepare ADWEC accounts in line with ADWEA Group financial policies. 6. Prepare annual Financial Statements. 7. Ensure effective finance and audit processes. 8. Provide general and administrative services to ADWEC.
