Fujairah F2 IWPP

A new Greenfield power generation and water production plant (Adjacent to the existing ADWEA Fujairah F1 plant) shall be implemented as an IWPP at Qidfa near Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman coast. In July 2007, the PWPA was signed between ADWEC and Fujairah Asia Power Company (FAPCO). The Project is scheduled to complete by July 2010 with total Net Power Generation Capacity of 2000MW and Net Water Production Capacity of 130MIGD. "Top"

Shuweihat S2 IWPP

A new Greenfield power generation and water production plant (adjacent to existing S1 plant) shall be implemented as an IWPP at Jebel Dhana, near Shuweihat, 250 KM west of the City of Abu Dhabi. In July 2008, the PWPA was signed between ADWEC and Suez-Tractebel. The Project is scheduled to complete by April 2011 with total Net Power Generation Capacity of 1510MW and Net Water Production Capacity of 100MIGD. "Top"
